Happy Easter; or Happy Zombie Jesus day...
As my agnostic friend likes to call it.

If you like the funny, here's an Easter egg for you...

1. Delicious Zombie Jesus!!!
We eat His flesh at Mass, and He eats ours. Kind of a closed circle...

2. Disrespectful....
One need not share the beliefs of others to extend them respect on a day that is very meaningful to them.

5. I wish I could recommend Lounge threads.
I'm sick of the thin-skins whining about how "disrespectful" it is when the superstitious insanity of the standard Christian mythology is exposed for what it is - silly & stupid.

If you really want to honor the life, death & sacrifice of Rabbi Yehoshua ben Yosef of Nazareth, go feed a homeless person. Comfort the sick. Visit someone in prison. Don't whine that you're being oppressed.

7. Your statement is self versus community.
What if you said

go feed a homeless person. Comfort the sick. Visit someone in prison. Help someone being oppressed.

The core of your comment is help someone other then yourself.

And I am still due beer and travel money, and many experiences.

8. And how do you know that many true Christians are not doing just that?

Your goal appears to be nothing more than to deride, mock, offend those whose beliefs, traditions, cultural practice differ from your own. This agnostic finds that to be just plain nasty, no matter the religion, philosophy, or personal creed one might follow. Your intolerance is certainly not consistent with most views of progressive values.
