Zsa Zsa Gabor wants a baby??? at 94. I think her hubby is trying to figure out a way to keep her $
The husband of Zsa Zsa Gabor said he and the 94-year-old former actress are planning to have a baby. Prince Frederic von Anhalt, 67, said the couple would use an egg donor and a surrogate mother, and that he is prepared to raise the child. One of the reasons for a baby would be so that someone would carry on the Gabor name.

1. How, exactly does the child automatically carry the "Gabor name?"
Can't they adopt or foster an older child needing a chance and give them the last name if that is so critical to them.

But, yes, I too smell a rat...

2. Ugh I was just reading about this guy.
I don't like the looks of it one bit. He is so obviously driven by self-promotion as his wife has so many health problems. I wish he would attend to her and afford her a modicum of dignity.

He said he was changing his name to Gabor as well as a "tribute" to his wife.

I hope she is OK with all this and is completely lucid. Her mother lived to be 102, so who knows. I know she's been in the hospital with some serious problems, but perhaps she can recover, and this all is indeed what she wants.

3. I doubt this is what Zsa Zsa really wants.
I think it's her slimeball hubby trying to get attention again. Remember when he claimed to be the father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby? Like Donald Trump, he is nothing but an attention whore.

8. I really don't think this is coming from her.
It's probably the husband. Oh, how I wish Eva was still with us...

10. You think that? I'm thinking that she wants people to remember her when she's gone.

And so many younger people just didn't know who she is, so she's out garnering some press. But I don't know enough about it.

I loved Eva! What a family. There's a movie in there, a good comedy someday. Great and strong women who made a way for themselves.

5. Ordinarily I say whatever, but in this case, what? How does an egg donor, surrogate mother, "carry
on the Gabor name"? What? No genetic link to Zsa Zsa, what would she do, adopt the baby? So why not just....adopt a baby?

What?

9. You're correct - this is Prince von A-hole's idea
He would be the guardian of the child and thus the trustee of whatever monies the kid inherited when Zsa Zsa croaks (which IIRC, she was about to do just a couple of months ago).

11. Zsa Zsa already has a biological daughter Francisca Hilton
I guess she could change her last name and take the name Gabor. Somehow though I don't think that would exactly make the "prince" happy, not quite what he had in mind.

16. Apparently, the prince sued the daughter in Zsa Zsas name for
larceny and fraud. Zsa Zsa refused to sign the affidavit and appear in court. It seems he had an agenda already.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zsa_Zsa_Gabor

In 2005, Gabor accused her daughter of larceny and fraud, alleging that she had forged her signature to get a $2 million loan on her mother's Bel Air house, and filed a lawsuit against Francesca in a California court. However, the Santa Monica Superior Court threw out the case due to Gabor's refusal to appear in court or to sign an affidavit that she indeed was a co-plaintiff on the original lawsuit filed by her husband, Frdric Prinz von Anhalt.

He sounds like a piece of work.
