4. Perfect night for this post.
I attend a telescope making class at the local community college. Tonight I did my first knife edge test, and will give my project 6" mirror another 1/2 hour of polishing just to make sure I have minimal defraction. The lab is open Saturday's and by the end of the day I will pour my pitchlap and start the figuring process.

About a year and a half ago I stopped work on a 10" f 5.8 because I had no idea on how to properly figure that mirror. Hopefully I can finish this scope and have time left over to restart the original project.
