Owsley Stanley has died at 76, the victim of a car accident.

Wow. I hope he has the most technicolor funeral EVER.

1. For some reason, I've always thought and spoke of him as "Stanley Owlsley".

Rolling Stone Magazine did an interview piece with him about 10-20 years ago and
mentioned whereas Timothy Leary was known as "The Wizard", Owlsley was known
as "The Alchemist".

I think he was involved in the airdrop of perhaps tens or hundreds of thousands of
hits of acid over Shea Stadium during a Dead show.

The interviewer eventually asked him if he were still dabbling in the same art... and
Owlsley just smiled cryptically and neither confirmed nor denied.

first time the letters kept crawling off the page like little ants. I have NO idea what could have possibly caused that.

My guess was some sort of error in the printing process...
