Anyone else here like "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys"?

I liked the show overall. It got a little silly, but that was half the fun. Some of my favorites are the ones that are totally meta-episodes.. like where the actors normally on the show play the people who make the show.. they have done a few like that.

1. We liked the show because...

the humor and complete lack of regard for history, etc. It was very amusing and kept us laughing throughout the show.

Now when Kevin Sorbo left the show and took up "Andromeda" that was a whole different story. Awful series. :(

2. Kevin Sorbo was not my type, but...

I became a Xena fan, then realized the shows shared the same "attitude". Also many of the same actors. And the beautiful New Zealand settings.

Eventually, I even got to thinking Sorbo was not so bad. Then Andromeda came out. Oh, well.

3. Tongue firmly in cheek...

they looked like they were having a really good time, and a certain Babe appeal. Great minor characters.

(Does the name Alexandra Tydings ring a bell?)

Sorbo was a big a stiff as Hercules as he is as a starship captain, but the rest of the show was fun and made up for him.
