They have officially earned the title of The Stupidest Company Ever(TM). What moron lawyer comes up with the idea that the Fair Use Doctrine somehow trumps the GPL. I was actually a tad bit amused watching SCO's death throw antics but they have just crossed over into the flipping insane.

For the first time in my life I'm speechless.

...SCO will do considerable damage to the Linux community, damage motivated entirely by greed. Still, it's hard to imagine how they could possibly prevail in the courts. 7. Insider Trading

Dying company hires lawyers to fling lawsuits left and right while dumb schmoes believe they have an actual business plan in motion and start buying stock. Why isn't the SEC stepping in and halting at the least the sell off of stock by the owners of SCO? If SCO isn't fileing bogus law suits, then there ought to be no reason for the CEO to be dumping his stock. If it's true that the stock brokers won't take short orders on SCO stock, then you can bet they are simply trying to pump and dump before they Chapter11 themselves out of existence.

RICO ought to apply when companies try this kind of extortion crap.
