1. Depends on the QBs skills.
I'm willing to listen if they're good at grilling, but I may not follow their advice.

At my place knows I'm the king. Every once in a while a hapless newbie will commit that faux paus. I don't have to say anything, the other guests will generally let them know :)

3. Um, it looks like the "BBQ chef" in that toon has his hand on the grill.
I think I'd be criticizing his skills rather than standing there with an empty plate and a smile on my face.
