Walking Dead, season 1 finale kicks off in 2.5 hours

should be interesting - wondering what is revealed about the past 6 months.

It will be a long wait until Season 2, but at least season 2 will be 13 episodes instead of 6.

7. They weren't sure if there was an audience for a zombie apocalypse show

so, they only made 6 episodes. However, it's blowing away most non-network competition in terms of ratings, so they picked it up for a full 13 episode run for next year.

But darn it all, gotta wait till next Halloween to see what comes next!

The scene between Lori and Shane was disturbing. But now we know that Shane really did believe that Rick was dead, and I'm glad that they got that out, it makes Shane a more sympathetic character.

Also, the relationship between Dale and Andrea is interesting. I haven't read, and don't really intend to read, the books about the series, cause Darabont has said that he doesn't want to stick strictly to the story-arcs there. But I'm sorry to see another original survivor leave, I really liked that character.

And I wish that Jenner had been able to tell the survivors a bit more about the zombie infection issue, or what-have-you. But, it does make for an ongoing story-line about "Wildfire".

Ugh. Next fall, really?? Boo hiss.

and said that he still had no idea if it was a virus, bacterial infection, fungal infection, etc. All we know is that it spreads like Meningitis.

Edit to add that if Shane really did believe Rick was dead, then why did he go through the trouble with putting the gurney in front of his room door at the hospital?
