I can't even get on the Air America site now.
Why not? I just set up an account earlier but now when I go to the main site I get a server error. Why?

1. Too much traffic.
Try streaming the station from Portland. It's working fine for me. Great oldies playing right now. LOL!

13. Yes, these oldies are indeed swingin'
I switched to classic rock a couple of years ago after listening to oldies in my mom's car since I rode in the car seat in back. It's nice to return to my roots once in a while!

2. I had the same problem
See my thread here in the Lounge.

I second the Portland station stream, it's very smooth. No buffering interrupts at all.

those buffering interrupts -- do they sound like 'aaaaaaaaaaatttt' every few minutes? I get that when listening to Randi before AirAmerica. I thought there was something wrong with my computer.

Yep, puter ingnorant here ;)

22. oooh oldies
I think everyone here is at the Portland station.

Of course there is massive traffic and other problems at Air America. This is normal for these kinds of things. Soon it will be smooth sailing I think. Once they get the registrations in and fix their redirects and open mirrors and such it will be great!

24. Thought it was funny...
but I thought it was odd that other than "e-mail," there was no option for people who learned of the station via the internet -- as I assume most of us did.
