Has been open a week and you're already friends with the delivery guy.

He's nice, I told him they need to sell bags of coffee too.

1. Seems like a good friend to make
Are you in Canada or China now? Sorry, I can't keep up. Is there a delivery charge? Home delivery of booze makes a great deal of sense. Good idea about the coffee too.

2. China - they deliver EVERYTHING here
It's so cheap for labour. I can get a bottle of Jameson delivered to my door for about $18 USD. McDonald's even delivers. If I want a chocolate bar from the shop, the kid will run it up. (I don't do that though, it's a bit overly lazy).

I think the coffee idea will take off, to get a bag of joe for my house I have to go to the foreigner store, you can't just get it anywhere. But, if I can have it delivered, even better, I hate going ALL the way to one of the foreign stores just for coffee.

That's mine, the plot thickens! That competitor is expensive too.

9. Tip! How dare you.
Edited on Thu Nov-04-10 01:53 AM by HEyHEY
There's no tipping in China, man. We got a good thing going and any expat who ruins it will be shot and pissed on at daybreak.

(That said, I tipped the guy last night, when it's busy, I wanna make sure they remember me and bring me the booze first!)

6. If labor is really so cheap, you should see if they can deliver a bartender who comes carrying a bar
