1. A lot of great music was made in the 70s
My favorite band from that decade is Black Sabbath.

4. I'm not exactly an old fuddy duddy.
Well, I'm 31 so maybe I am to some. But I'm fairly convinced that the 70s had more great music than any other decade hands down. Joplin, The Eagles, The Rolling Stones, Steve Miller Band, Cheap Trick, Rush, Queen, Black Sabbath, 3 Dog Night, Zeppelin. And that's just off the top of my head. I know many of those artists had careers before and after the 70s, but I think the bulk of them did their best work in the 70s. I don't know what it was about that decade, but it had absolutely incredible music.

7. Hey! I like disco!
Well, not all of it.

But a lot of it.
It was just plain FUN to listen to, and still is.

8. Okay, so long as it's
Kraftwerk
Tangerine Dream
Synergy
Philip Glass
Jean Michel Jarre
Tomita
Walter Carlos
Morton Subotnick
Brian Eno
Robert Fripp
Roedelius
Harold Budd

And all the rest of the "unmarketables" that didn't make it to the top 100 or even the top 1000 :P
