Nothing surprises me anymore, usually.
When it does, it seems like a pretty big deal.

Been surprised lately?

2. Yes as a matter of fact
About two weeks ago my sister and I were on the phone with our neo-conservative, right-wingnut, limbaugh loving, o'reilly fawning, beck bowing brother. I was teasing him about his love of fux news when he started on this 30 minute long diatribe about how he hasn't watch fux news in almost a year and he refers to the 'news' as the "matrix of lies", that all the fore-mentioned radio heads are lying scum-suckers, sarah palin is nothing less than a gold digging, fame-seeking whore and the final kicker? This regan loving, 3 time bush voter SAID.... drum roll please...........

That bush and cheney should be in prison for war crimes committed against not only against Iraq but against the United States too.

:wow:

And what started him thinking was about a year ago he saw some footage of tower 7 falling on 9/11/01. He said something didn't look right and he began researching on his own. Now he says when he thinks back on those years he can't understand how he couldn't see it before.

LOL I told him that from now on he needs to listen to me, his baby sister;-) since I've consistently been ahead of his curve by an average of 10 years.

Yes, both my sister and I were truly shocked.

4. OH SHIT! I hadn't thought of that.
But he did say that they dropped the cable a year ago and I'm guessing he doesn't listen to the radio anymore since any and all media is now labeled the "matrix of lies."

But I will have to ask.

5. Shocked..
Edited on Sun Sep-19-10 11:01 PM by AsahinaKimi
I went to go see the Japanese girl band JINNYOOPS on Saturday, and was told that one of the girls had her bag stolen from a bar, that they had dropped into on the first night. It contained the girl's passports, money, and a few souvenirs from their trip to the USA. Fortunately, though some phone calls, they were able to get replacement passports.

I felt really bad for them, to come all the way to the USA and be robbed like that.. So I spent an extra 60 dollars on their items, like Tee shirts, Buttons and CDs. A lot of people felt the same way, and chipped in buying a few more items, so they could have money going home.

I hope they will come back to the USA for another tour, but I am sure they were quite upset about this. On the other hand, many people were generous, and this seemed to make them happy, and the trip was not such a big loss after all. We all had fun with their music.. They are an awesome band!
