1. You're signing up for a certain life.
Still scary, though.

7. I know the feeling.
eat a little something - cereal or bread or a couple of crackers

start learning who the good handymen/small contractors are! and get some good DYI books - so much stuff you can do yourself if you aren't afraid to try

I know how you're feeling today.

Rest assured, you're not signing your life away.

Just your money.

22. well --
this was the notary closing. The final closing should take place in 120 days. and I had to sign some kind of paper about the right of way ... shit. I forget what it is called and I don't have a copy of that paper. Anyway, it is because my road is not a deeded a right of way.

They will break ground next week. I still have to finish tearing down the outbuilding where the house is going. My brother and I have been working on that every weekend for a month now. We only have the flooring left and we will get that moved this weekend.

I will post pics when I have broken ground.

:scared:

25. It wouldn't be scary
if it weren't such a life changing event, and so worth it to have your own space. Soon you will be able to look around you and relax.

Wishing you happiness in your new home.

28. It's always scary at closing
We have bought 2 houses. Both times my hands were so cramped up I could barely grab the keys, after all the "sign here, and here and here, initial here and here and date and initial here and here ha.

Its a good feeling after tho.
