Comcast supposedly doubling rates
Found this little tidbit at fuckedcompany.com.

Rumor has it Comcast is in the process of sending letters to 200,000+ customers that were aquired with the AT&T broadband aquisition, doubling rates for high-speed internet. Will customers cancel?

3. Yes, in a heartbeat
They were supposed to be doubling the bandwidth for all service too, from 1.5mb to 3mb. I'm still at 1.

I've had the new speed for a couple of months now.

From what I've read at http://www.dslreports.com/forum/comcast most people have the new speed.

8. I'll quit and get DSL
They just lowered my monthly rate ten bucks, and I signed up for basic cable. So for the same rate I get both. If they try to screw me though, I'm outta there.
