I don't like them after they're fully yellow or worse starting to get brown spots. A nice yellowy lime is perfect banana color.

14. i have 2 banana patches

one was wild green bananas or horse bananas as we call them
only good for cooking as when heated they release an unbelievable banananess into cakes pies or quick breads
the other is mini cavendish which when ripened are as sweet as candy
the green ones make a nice replacement for mashed potatoes
