9. I wouldn't bother with MENSA if I were you. You are too smart for that bullshit

I went to a few MENSA meetings back in the early 90s.

Personally, I don't think that "intelligence" is numerically quantifiable,
but since my test scores were in the 99.99th percentile, I went to
some MENSA meetups in the hope of meeting some kindred souls...

The word "dismay" does not begin to describe my experience.

There were no kindred souls there, just a bunch of horribly
sad misfits who had no social life outside of MENSA meetings.

It was like a bad movie full of walking stereotypes.

Undescribaly sad.
