Has anyone ever bought clothing online?
I'm currently loving this website: http://www.shabbyapple.com/

I'm thinking of ordering a dress or two from there, but I'm kind of scared of buying one without trying it on. I sometimes have trouble finding clothes that fit, especially in "younger" styles, since I'm rather hourglass/pear shaped, which doesn't seem to be in style right now. I tend to have problems finding things that fit in the chest and hip/thigh areas. However, some of the models on the website look a bit curiver, so I might be safe.

Do you think I should go for it? Or is it a bad idea?

2. Make sure there is a good return policy...
I can order some things online but those are usually items that I have tried on in a store first. If the return policy is good, you should be okay. Just check for restocking fees or high shipping fees and such.

3. If you know what styles work best on you, buying on-line can be good.
Buy to fit the largest part of you (bust or hips), and don't hesitate to take something to a seamstress or tailor to take something in so the whole garment will fit.

4. I rarely buy any clothes other than online
However, I'm not hard to fit so it's pretty rare that I have to return something.

5. I buy clothes online frequently
Usually eBay, cause it's cheap and easy, and I can buy by brand name, and I know Landsend and LL Bean sizes and quality well. That website that you posted looks interesting, it lets you pick your body shape and suggests styles for it too. Interesting. A bit out of my price range, but quality always counts. I say go for it, you'll never know if you don't try.

6. I buy most of my clothes online. On the whole been satisfied.
Very limited local choices.

As noted, just insure a good return policy.

7. Those are seriously cute dresses!
Just from scanning through, I think they would look great on your figure-type! I'm bookmarking that site! Thank you.

8. I buy clothing online.

I don't have much choice anymore. I can't get out of the house very often anymore. Finding a day when I'm well enough to go to a store, and getting me into a dressing room to wrestle me into clothing without a bed to lay on to do it? Yeah right! Like that is going to happen!

I tried on a pair of jeans not too long ago in a store. They had one dressing room that was the size of a damned warehouse. I was able to lay down on the floor! But on the floor I was fully visible to everyone outside who could see under the door of the dressing room. Oops.

And then I had to climb back up into my wheelchair. That hurt. A lot. All for one damned pair of jeans!

So no more dressing rooms for me. I'm sticking to buying clothing online. I haven't had any problems so far.

Edit to add: I like the stuff on that website. If it is good quality, I say you've found a nice place. :)

10. I buy clothes and shoes on line, have for years.
In fact, I only go out for grocery shopping, almost everything else we buy online.

I buy thru places that have a good refund policy, like, believe it or not, amazon.com.

My current fave is Etsy.
Because of nerve damage, I have to wear very loose clothing.
Etsy has a nice search engine, and the shops I use are the ones which describe the size AND measurements of clothing, instead of "large" or "medium".

Plus you can chat with the seller. I tend to buy from people in the USA.
Etsy has many styles, a lot of vintage ( 1970 seems to be a big year), and sells almost everything, form food to pots to jewelry to clothes. Prices vary a lot, I find very reasonable to cheap items there.

Zappos for shoes. A bit pricey, but free returns, wide selection of widths, brands, and the price difference makes up for no gas, no driving, no taxes, no make up, hell, no shoes!
