That's true even if you EAT meat.

7. It is gross. KFC is also a GOP company (YUM).
Same owner as Long John Silver's and Pizza Hut.

11. Don't forget Taco Hell and Frito Lay.
All of them used to be part of Pepsico, which has some rather nebulous right wing ties itself (see "Prescott Bush & Cuban sugar plantations under Batista" or "Where was Dick Nixon on 11/22/1963")

Whether YUM is really seperated from Pepsico or whether it's just a shell company for tax purposes is the real question. Because it's funny how all these YUM junkfood brands still promote Pepsi products.

2. The Chicken McNugget is merely a renaming of the venerable Japanese dish
Tori Kara-agé.

That was my reaction the first time I ever encountered a Chicken McNuggets: "Oh, look, it's Tori Kara-agé!"

Given the antiquity of Japanese culture, I'd say that Chicken McNuggets have to be older.

5. Kara-age chicken is widely available in Hawai'i
even at 7-Elevens!

The difference is, out there, it's made from actual chicken.

4. Q: Which came first: KFC or the Chicken McNugget? A: Chicken McNugget.
The Chicken McNugget existed before KFC, KFC was manufactured after Kentucky law dictated there was a fee required with a company using 'Kentucky' in its name for profit.

9. You need to try my Casual Fire Chicken Fingers
take a mix of whole wheat and white flour, add just a touch of baking powder. Then break an egg and beat it.

Add some cayenne pepper to the flour, and just a touch of tabasco to the egg

dip the chicken fingers in the egg first, then flour then deep fry

Dip in some hot sauce :)

10. largest number of McNuggets one cannot buy
A McNuggets come in boxes of 6, 9, and 20 nuggets.

For example, one can buy 15 nuggets (6+9) but one cannot buy 16.

1. Is there a largest number of nuggets that one cannot buy?
2. If so, what is this number?

15. Yep
I'm working through a series of lectures by Paul Zeitz and that was one of the problems. The proof is very interesting. There's a pretty good explanation on wiki:
