1. BadCo produced some decent tunes, but this is Rodgers' best work IMHO...
Paul Rodgers "Muddy Water Blues"
Title track live with Buddy Guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=014Huz_VZZQ

2. I own it, and I love it.
Gotta agree with you on that one. That may be his "personal best."

I love Free because, as a guitarist, Paul Kossoff was the ALPHA and OMEGA.

But in the strict realm of my poll, yeah...that album has everything Rodgers does best.

3. Yes, the Firm did suck.
Never heard the Law. Did that band suck too? As much as the Firm sucked?

4. The Firm had the potential to be much more, but Page was a mess
They should have just combined the names of their previous bands and called it "Bad Zeppelin".

Page's brief solo on the Rolling Stones' "One Hit to the Body" was better than anything he played on The Firm's records.

As for Paul Rodgers attempting to sing with Queen... what an abortion that was!

Sure Paul can sing. His voice is almost as strong now as it was on the first Free album. But that don't make him worthy of walking in Freddie's shoes. Because no one can. :evilfrown:
