Woke up this morning, recieved a call from my office regarding some good news on work I had just done. Came to work all smiling and happy and soaking it up.

I figured I'd reward myself at lunch time by driving to this ice cream place that everyone swears by.

On my way there, apparently the yellow light I drove through had turned red, and needless to say, I saw flashing lights in the rear view mirror.

The damage? $230, although I'll do the traffic school thing to avoid points.

The ice cream? It was okay, but not worth $230.

Ugh. Well I guess having one good news mixed with one bad news is better than two bad news....
