1. I think it will be worth seeing...
...if only for the fact that it's more like the original and less like the sequels, at least in tone and setting.

2. If anybody can make Predators cool again...
If anybody can make Predators cool again, it's the man who gave us Planet Terror. This is based on the Predator script Rodriguez wrote years ago, so it's a passion project for him. And yet, the casting of Adrien Brody and Topher Grace makes us very, very nervous.

3. I dunno, Predator II was wonderful though
The early nineties visualisation of the near future was awesome aesthetically.

5. Better than the first, imho.
The first is a good movie, but totally formulaic, and it follows the same pattern as every slasher movie ever made. Take a group of people, isolate them somewhere, then kill them in glorious fashion one by one until you get to the last survivor, whereupon the previously crafty and careful killer/predator throws caution to the wind and ends up getting himself offed by the hero. As a hardcore horror fan I've seen this exact same formula used about 80,347 times.

The second one is crazier and more original, though not as well made. The alien skull in the predator ship was a nice touch though. :)
