Good news, everyone! Futurama returns tomorrow!

Futurama was revived in 2007 as four straight-to-DVD films; the last of the four was released in early 2009. Comedy Central entered into an agreement with 20th Century Fox Television to syndicate the existing episodes and air the films as new episodes in an episodic format. On June 9, 2009, producing studio 20th Century Fox announced that Comedy Central had picked up the show for 26 new half-hour episodes scheduled to begin airing on June 24, 2010.

We've seen the first two episodes of Futurama season six......and they're good! Futurama makes its Comedy Central debut until tomorrow, but we've had a sneak peek at the first two outings. It looks like there's plenty of life left in everyone's favorite animated scifi comedy that refuses to die.



We'll save our complete recap for once the episodes have officially aired, but we have a few spoiler-free initial impressions.

BTW, I thought they were good. Probably liked the first one better than the second (too much Zapp Branigan in that one. He really shouldn't be the whole show.)
