2. Husker Du is a perfect example of what's wrong with major labels
You can almost hear the suits in the background doing the mix:

"Make it more polished, less raw"

The rawness was what made Husker Du so damn good.

Honestly, that's the first song I remember hearing from Warehouse, since it was received with such disdain when it came out. It's an ok song but at the risk of going all music snob it doesn't compare to their SST work.

3. New Day Rising is the peak for me
Actually I don't think much of Warehouse as a whole - some catchy bits but generally uninspiring - but I do love that last song.
