With Perkins out for tonight, the Celtics will need more offensive punch down low, and that means Rasheed Wallace will need to step up. As Blazer and Piston fans can tell you, Wallace doesn't do the low block on offense. He might wander down there a time or two for a designed play, but he will not go low consistently at the offensive end. He will not get rebounds, he will not look to take advantage of his size and length to shoot over shorter defenders.

6. The Lakers aren't exactly choir boys either

I'd give a shiny nickel to the referee who finally whistles Bryant for his off-hand shoving to create space for his shot, or Odom for his over-the-back rebounds. But as long as the officials don't call it, I don't expect it to ever stop. It would be nice to see it called more evenly (referring not just to this series, but in general).

Actually I joined because my buddy in the next cubicle over, lol... is a long time DU poster (like 3 or 4 years) and he urged me to join. I mostly hang out online doing FB and MS and that kind of stuff... but thought DU would be fun to check out. Every web site I hang out on the "Lounge" is where I spend most of my time. I wouldn't call myself very political, by the nature of my job (Fed Gov't) I don't have much of a fondness or preference for any of them.
