Just home from my daughter's commie pinko fascist college graduation

from the University of Washington.

Oh, there was some Marxism in there, as well as (gasp!!) talk of social justice!

A gay man gave the commencement address, and had the audacity to mention his partner (horrors!).

To get to the building where the commencement was held on campus, we had to walk through Red Square, the central part of the university (hold me Vern, I'm gonna faint!).

One of the awards given out was to a young student for his work in (hold on to your garters, Martha) social justice!!!

And to add just the right commie pinko touch to the evening, my daughter wore a red shawl over her dress (oh sweet jeebus, help us all!).

Outstanding achievement, and I wish the best for her in her future plans.

I'm starting to get a little knot in my stomach. My oldest will be a HS senior next year and his sister will be a freshman. Won't be long and they'll both be off to college. :cry: :)
