Any satellite experts here (DirecTV)
I have a HD DirecTV and this afternoon noticed that the picture was freezing for a second or two every 15 seconds or so. Normally that would be reserved for snowy days here in Colorado, but it's so friggin hot (94) degrees, and I took a gander at my dish - and found one of two white covers that normally points to the satellite dish damaged. It's as if someone threw a rock on it (very unlikely since the dish is on our backyard high above anything) - would that affect the quality of the dish? What is the cover normally called anyway?

I'm talking about this:

2. Have I mentioned how much I love you, Parche
You and your beautiful plane pics... I was actually studying up on Indonesian planes the other day since the Meripati crash.

3. I said, "Fuck it" and restarted the receiver (since my other receiver was fine)
and lo and behold, no freeze frames.
