you're talking about "the good mother" sue miller? that's a pretty common name

it might seem a simple story but considering i read a book a day for years and from time to time after 20 yrs or whatever it is that particular book still comes to mind she must have something going for her

2. I never read the Good Mother. I saw the movie and that was enough. She does write well though. I

wish she wasn't always writing about such controvercial topics but I love her writing so much I don't care.
