Watching 2012 for the first time and holy hell what a stupid movie, LOL! Right now California is collapsing in on itself LOL! It's like all of those 1970s disaster movies rolled into one. I didn't think it was possible, but Roland Emmerlich topped his Independence Day movie as the stupidest movie that's soo much fun.

1. I am wondering ....(spoiler)
I can't remember whether all of Africa made it through, but I suppose the whole of telecommunications were knocked out that they couldn't just say, "oh, come over here, we're still around".

the arks open up the doors to let everybody get some fresh air under a beautiful sunset sky. Then the shot goes into a totale, showing a blue sky and white clouds, and everyone will be having a villa in Capetown ...

There's not even the slightest hint of nuclear winter there, or oil spills, or mess from any various sources. It's just so clean they may called it paradise.

Did you notice that it was mainly a Sony commercial all the way through?
