A band I rediscovered recently: The Ocean Blue

These guys had perhaps the worst timing in music history. They came along with some gorgeous, shimmery guitar-and-synth pop that would make Ian McCulloch and Barney Sumner jealous., but did so just as grunge was taking off. As a result, they never really broke through outside of college and alternative radio in the northeast.

Found their cd "Cerulean" in the used bin a few weeks ago, and remembered how much I like this stuff!
