One of the best EVER, if it remains consistent in future seasons.

That's my ruling and I stick by it. (bangs gavel)

6. And Zsa Zsa Ga-Boa
And Jay never knew his son was gay!!

When Jay staged the crime scene, I could not stop laughing.

2. Absolutely the funniest show currently on broadcast TV.
Laugh out loud funny. It's a little softer edge than Arrested Development, and the characters are more likeable and a little less oddball. But still very, very, funny.

And Sophia Vergara has to be the sexiest woman ever to walk on the face of the earth. That's my ruling and I stick by it. (bangs gavel).

It's funny, without mugging for a studio audience. The show has some depth to the stories and characters in addition to the humor.

13. ABC at 9:00
It' not quite at AD's level, but it's as close as you'll get from anything currently on TV.

16. For me it's the first show to even touch the hilarity of Arrested Development.
It's not quite there yet but a show even half as funny as Arrested Development is still damn funny. And I would say Modern Family is at the 80-90% mark. Really, really hilarious

15. That show reminds me of Married With Children but like 20 years later
Al Bundy finally divorced Peg and married a hot Columbian chicka

Bud grew up and realized he was gay

Kelly grew up and became a housewife

And Peggy is Shelly Longs character.

They all seem like older and a little more serious versions of Married With Children. Its pretty cool.

20. That's an interesting take on "Married" vs "Modern"
I was on the fence when I saw the first few episodes, but when Cam and Mitchell went to Costco (Episode 3, "Come Fly with Me"), I was hooked! Then there was Fizbo...

18. I so agree!
Everyone, and I mean everyone -- even the kids -- are very funny on this show. It has some of the best writing ever on a sitcom.
