Help. The "v" in my computer keyboard doesn't work. I need a new verb to replace
"to have". I'm typing on a friends keyboard right now and it is heaven to not have to replace words with the letter "v" with synonyms.

5. If your using Windows, you could try On-Screen Keyboard
Under Start\All Programs\Accessories\Accessibility\On-Screen Keyboard.

I use it a lot when I don't have any more room on my desk.

6. No problem.
When you want a lowercase v just hold down the Alt key and type 118 on the numeric keypad. If you want an uppercase V hold down the Alt key and type 86 on the numeric keypad (that's how I entered both the v and V.)

17. actually that would be like torture
imagine trying to type this without the v

"Voila! In view a humble vaudevillian veteran cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity is a vestige of the vox populi now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Ha ha. Verily this vichysoisse of verbiage veers most verbose so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V."
