1. Knife and fork.
I hate to burn the roof of my mouth with hot pizza. Ouch!

Plus I have to scrape off all the stuff on it that I hate, like onions or green peppers.

24. I love them. I've grown them a few seasons.
They didn't get all that big, but the sprouts were tender and sweet. The best crop I had was in NH. I dug them out of the snow one year to have them for Thanksgiving. They do great sitting in the bed through several frosts and even snow. I read somewhere that the frost improves their flavor.

As for the asparagus, we had an established bed when we moved into the house I lived in during my kindergarten year. I didn't have one again until four seasons ago when I put in this one. You can't harvest much until the third season, but it has been prolific since. It is only about 8'x4' but it produces more than we can use. Unfortunately, if you don't pick a shoot soon enough it will bolt up to four to five feet tall and branch. I can't wait for the shoots to start this year.

I'm in MA right now staying with friends and we are all originally from Jersey. We came to the conclusion that it's a NY/NJ thing but... who knows.

6. not very often
takes a special texture of crust to do that doesn't it?

If a metal fork is available and the pizza is really hot and has large chunky ingredients I will cut the first few bites to avoid spills and burns, but the I pick it up and eat it like you should.

8. I'm no scofflaw. I don't fold pizza.
.
OK, maybe I spindle and mutilate it a li'l bit.
.
M-m-m-m, spindling.
.
Knife-and-fork for the first coupla pointy-end bites while it's
really hot-n-sloppy... then I clasp my hands behind my back and
eat as though I'm in a County Fair pizza-eatin' contest, sometimes
grabbin' it atwixt my two toofas and tossin' it up in the air and
bitin' it on the way back down, all the while growlin, spittin'
and burpin'.
.
I learned from the best.
.
.
.
.
I miss you, MiddleFingerGrandMom.

Edited to add: fork and knife? Sacrilege. Only hands shalt touch thine pizza, and it shall be good.

13. If the size permits it, yes.
Those big floppy pieces from NYC call for it.

But the pizza I usually eat winds up being stiff enough (due to smaller size or thicker crust or whatever) so it's not required.

29. Only NYC-area folks fold pizza.
Yet somehow, pizza-folders like to consider themselves to be better than other pizza-eaters. Go ahead, pizza-folders... strut around and eat that nasty street food, and act like it doesn't taste like Chef Boyardee's latest bowel movement.

Pizza that allows itself to be folded is an abomination.

:D

Although I have folded some pizza slices. Inferior ones that I didn't want to look at, but was hungry enough to eat.

I feel so ashamed.
