Atheists start pet care service to care for pets owned by people who believe in the Rapture
What's nutz - they have had over 100 clients so far buying into this service.

Don't let Judgment Day leave Fido on his own

A fair number of people in the United States -- estimates range from 20 million to 40 million -- believe there will be a Rapture in their lifetime, a Judgment Day when the righteous are spirited away to a better place while the godless remain on Earth.

What happens to the pets of the righteous?

Bart Centre, a retired retail executive in New Hampshire, has address this issue and hopes to make a buck off the apocalypse. Last June he started Eternal Earth-Bound Pets, USA -- "The next best thing to pet salvation in a Post Rapture World," says the Web site -- a service that promises to rescue and care for the animals left behind by raptured Christians.

"If you love your pets, I can't understand how you could not consider this," said Centre, 61, in a telephone interview. Crazy? Well, to date he has more than 100 clients, each paying $110 for a 10-year contract ($15 for each additional pet.)

2. Damn! Why didn't I think of this?
There's always a way to take advantage of stupidity and turn it to monetary advantage. :)

4. Seriously, I could even advertise as a Christian who just happens to not believe in Rapture
So what better way to ensure your pets are well loved than to have a Christian, who happens to not believe in the Rapture, watch after your beloved pets when the Rapture does occur.

They've had over 100 people sign up which means they've racked in $11k in this venture.
