1. I liked the end
Please highlight the text to read it. I know you warned about spoilers but i want to be extra careful.

START TEXT
Anyway, I was definitely surprised by the end, and I'm glad I stayed through the credits. That was my favorite part of it all. That horror of just NO ESCAPE.

Which brings me to, I kind of assumed everyone died, but then I was reading today that it was maybe supposed to be left open. Am I the only one who assumed that since the boat was out of gas they were pretty much fucked? I was reading today that people were saying the final frame of the movie has the blonde woman (forget her name - the main character) in zombie makeup, but others were saying that that wasn't her and the movie was left open for a possible sequel. I can see how they might want to make a sequel, but I'd have a hard time buying it. (I mean, I'll accept the existence of zombies, but you gotta draw the line somewhere...)

2. The end thing was well done, but I personally would have
preferred it if it was left a little more ambiguous, i.e.
(Highlight the text below)
if they had landed on the island but didn't show what happened. Or if they found the nasty zombie boat and then sailed on uncertainly towards the island. Left it more to your imagination.
(End Spoiler Text)

3. Someone really does need to do a flash animation game version
of the "snipe the celebrity zombie lookalike" game though. Please!

4. Sequel
Ving Rhames has said that if there was a sequel, he would be in it and not as a zombie. Take it for what it is worth.

5. Day of the Dead remake???
God I hope not, that was defintly a dissapointment from the original first 2. BUT Romero has said he wants to make a fourth called "Dead Reckoning," I've also heard of Twilight of the Dead, but he says it takes place a few years after Day. So maybe if he completely revises Day, and based on the success of that, then maybe he can get the greenlight for the 4th chapter.
I love zombie movies, total survival in face of such horror. Something primal about it, which is wierd because I'm a really picky bastard about movies.
