Okay this has got to be the strangest symptoms I've had in a while.
It started last Saturday with lightheadedness when changing position, especially from lying down to sitting up.

Bouts of lightheadedness and dizzyness throughout the week.

Momentary feelings of fainting... like I'm catching myself.

Yesterday, I was a bit weak and my lungs became very congested. It was hard to walk through the entire art exhibit with Mr. Writer.

I saw the physician's asst. on Friday, and my blood pressure was relatively low for someone who hasn't been exercising (100/70 or 100/80, something like that). But not low enough to be a cause for concern. My blood pressure at my last physical was high - 140/90 I think.

But NO FEVER. x(

What the hay is this???

I may need to call the PA again on Mon.

1. Having no idea as to your age, sex, or family hx/risk factors,
I can only say that those symptoms may be indicative of cardiac disease, and if I had them, I'd be getting an EKG and cardiac workup if I hadn't had one recently. The other possibility is some type of upper respiratory problem that is affecting your lungs and middle/inner ear. I'd still want to get my heart checked out, though, just to be on the safe side. Good luck. I hope it's nothing more than a URI.

3. I'm 34 and have had heart issues before...
but a long time ago. I'm overall a very healthy person... I think I'm going to contact the doctor's office again on Monday and have them look at me again. I'm due for my annual physical very soon so I might as well get them to change my oil and rotate my tires.

2. Anemia, blood sugar level, could be a lot of different things.
Nutrition level, lack of some proper foods in the diet, etc.

4. I'm going to lock this up.
Members of Democratic Underground are not qualified to give you medical advice. Please contact your PA as you said you plan to. That is the best possible course to determine what is causing these symptoms.
