Does anybody else ever get the feeling when things are going well that it's just a matter of time before the "other shoe drops"? Tell me I'm being paranoid.

That's the way life works. Ebbs and flows. And I have this very thought in the back of my head almost constantly.

In fact, it may actually be an inherent mechanism that keeps us intuitively connected and aware, so that we may be better suited to avoid just such a calamity.

Kind of like what cats do.

Anyway, I think it does work.

Omg, Peggy. Often, I think my problem is I don't look far enough down the road.

I'm sure I'll feel better after the doc calls me with the final "all's clear" from the procedure I had last week.
