1. Grew up in Massachusetts, where "Wise Potato Chips" RULED.
Very greasy, very salty, lotsa broken chips, and the hands-down favorite of many New Englanders at the time.

My dad took me to the Wise Factory where you could stand outside and look through the building windows and see chips being made.

The bag, which I just found at Google Images, is very similar to the one I remember as a kid. Doesn't look like they've changed it much (except for the "all natural" part, of course...when I was a kid, there was no such thing as an "all natural" food:

3. Yeah, I'm a Pringles guy.
Although I've been known to pick up a bag of Funyuns when I'm feeling crazy.

7. Lay's cruelly teased me a few years back...
...they had a "special edition" potato chip flavored with Rosemary and Herb.

It was fantastic! Naturally, they took it off the shelves.

Bastid's!

17. I hate that phenomenon
that's happened so many times I've given up on many products and brands. Normally I don't like Campbell's soup but they came out with a "Homestyle Bean" once that had about 10 different beans and no animal products if I recall correctly. It was great. Of course, in six months it was discontinued. So many other great products and variations have come and gone that I've given up on any product loyalty or brand loyalty.

14. Poore Brothers potato chips
I always loved their parmesan and garlic chips, which they discontinued. They were reincarnated in the Boulder Canyon Chips line, however. And, lucky for me, the Boulder chips are more accessible in my region. Both Poor Brothers and Boulder chips come in some really yummy, interesting flavors. And. they are not afraid of "hot and spicy." I see PB has some "molé" chips out, and I hope I get a chance to try some soon.
