I was tagging some Christmas mp3s using EasyTag and found that there is a Genre selection called Christian Gangsta Rap. Isn't that sort of an oxymoron?

Sorry, got carried away there a bit. Honestly though, what's with all the gunshots? Are they suggesting that Jesus supports drive-bys? And when they say that they're "rough riders", are they saying that they engage in rough intercourse without protection or are they using it in the more familiar usage of one who rides strapped with gats? Or perhaps they're suggesting that they were part of Teddy Roosevelt's first U.S. volunteer cavalry? It appears they're a little young to be the latter, so I guess it's one of the first two. I'm sure they'll clarify this in time.

I would say that these guys are ripe for parody, but they already parody themselves. It's like they watched a few hours of MTV from the late 90s and sanitized everything they learned so it would be somewhat more appropriate for a Christian audience. The first time I saw this, I got a bit of a laugh out of it. Then I cried for hours.
