What are you paying for home heating oil?
I'm looking for a price I can use to compare to the amount we spent to heat our home so far (since mid October) with wood pellets. I can't find anyone who lists their per gallon oil prices online - I'm looking for SE Pennsylvania, but I'd be interested to see what the differences are in various areas.

FWIW, we will have used around $50-$55 of pellets from October 13 to the end of November, about $7 per week.
Thanks.

1. Nothing.
Now the natural gas prices, that's another story.

2. We have a gas furnace - ran it in October for a half hour just to make
sure it works.
Probably won't use it for a week all winter long.

7. I bought 150 gallons last month for $2.59/gallon

I bought 175 gallons in September for $2.19.

I'm in Central OH and have no idea how long this will last as I have 2 275 gallon tanks in the basement and no idea what 1/2 on the gauge really translates too since the tanks are so large.

9. Thanks for the answers - none of the local dealers will publish prices -
I don't know if the prices are that volatile or if the dealers are afraid to tell people how much they are charging...I had thought it was close to $3/gallon.

10. My 9/11 experience was helplessly watching my fuel oil tank flop over
with 250 gallons of fuel oil glubbing into the ground. I have used electric space heaters ever since and it has actually been cheaper and cleaner heat for these past 8 winters here in Wisconsin.
