Hmmm, my roomate has a fever, is coughing up blood and has been in bed for two days.

He was vaccinated for swine flu before coming here. I've been trying to get him to go to the hospital, but he won't listen. For me, anytime I start coughing blood I get to the hospital. Sounds bad to me.

1. He really should be checked out

Coughing up blood is never good. He may have pneumonia rather than H1N1 but whatever it is, he really should be seen. Is there someone else you can ask to help convince him, like a family member or a girlfriend?

and by the time he went to the hospital it was too late; he died of pneumonia.
