2. He is a treasure

He meows when I sneeze. He fetches. He kneads ecstatically on a stuffed animal kitty on our bed. He "flops and drops" on the floor, exposing his belly for scratches. I've never known a kitty like him.

Did you get a new scratching post and put it on the kitchen counter? Or is that just a really tall scratching post?
BTW, beautiful kitchen. Dark wood (cherry?), white appliances, tile backsplash. Nice.

He likes to come greet us when we enter the house, and when I put the scratching post down he had to jump up and explore it. I was lucky to have my phone handy to take this shot of him in action. And Mr. DTBK chose the cabinets and blacksplash when the house was being built. :hi:

I call him that too! And we named him Morrissey because that's what he answered to in the car on the way home from adoption.
