We are Siamese if you please . . .
How many of you are owned by Siamese kittehs? Pics welcome, of course. :)

And in their honor:

1. I'm owned by a Siamese mix--does that count? ;-)
Here are some photos of her. She looked a lot more like a lynx-point Siamese when I brought her home and looks mostly tabby now, except for those beautiful baby blues.

When I brought her home:

Posing for the camera:

Showing her silly side:

And hanging out in my lap. You can see that she's really striped now:

5. Do you mean the creaky-sounding Siamese meow?
Her meow doesn't sound like that, but she's SUPER talkative. I didn't know that when I brought her home, but it just makes me that much crazier about her. Adopting her was probably one of the best decisions I made last year. :)

6. I love chatty kittehs. Mine are medium on the scale. They are part coon, so they can be
quite chirpy when they feel like it. And Pickles, well she's a real sassy face anyway so she'll meow very loudly at me when she wants something.

3. We had a cat with some Siamese in her, and she was SUCH a chatterbox. I like chatty kittehs.
No pic, sorry.

4. Thanks!
We have had a long line of Siamese cats in our family, and as kids we used to sing that "We are Siamese" song. Only have one black cat now but I'm a huge fan of Siamese cats, their bumbling cross-eyed sweetness and their demanding, town-crier voices.

By the way here's another Disney song:

7. The Wiley and Excellent Boy Cat Named Ginger
isn't really Siamese, although his vet put "blue point" Siamese on his vaccination records. His mother is my mother-in-law's blue-gray farm cat, and his father was a feral tuxedo cat. Besides his Siamese appearance, Ginger does speak fluent "Meeser."
