Why is it better than "Citizen Kane"?

Well, there's a murder in it. A prison story, well-told. A morality play, if you will, although you could claim that "Citizen Kane" has a morality play in it too, though I no longer remember.

It is extremely well cast, and edited. The pace is not rushed; it's just right. It's never boring.

It's a great human interest story too.
