A show that was just badly written, acted and directed but somehow managed to get more than 2 or 3 seasons of air time.

I actually watched almost all of the Charmed episodes when they were on. They were really bad, the acting was bad the writing was bad and the storyline progression annoyed me most of the time but for some reason had to follow the seasons.

I did that with Star Trek Enterprise to. For a Star Trek series it pissed me off most of the time but I still watched all the episodes. I spent most of the time yelling at the screen as if the writers could hear me.

1. I'm like you. I've seen most of Charmed even though I thought it was idiotic.

It used to follow up back to back episodes of Law & Order and there was nothing else on, so I didn't bother to change the channel. That show really was crap. I hated the cast, I hated the premise, I hated the writing... Everything about it was stupid.

4. I know right!?!
I was such a fan of The Buffy and Angel tv show that I was hoping this would be as good. But it wasnt. But I still watched almost all the seasons! The only character I liked was that Cole guy played by the dude from Nip/Tuck cause he was always kicking those witches asses.

6. The witches' powers were the worst part.

The show was full of fighting and shit, but most of the demons could easily be killed by them using their magic. Hell, most of the time it was as easy as snapping their fingers or saying some stupid rhyme. Why not just start out doing that?

It's just like Voltron, Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, or even He-Man. You know your big power will always do the job, so why not start out with it?

2. I slogged through half of season 2 of Heroes before I realized it was a chore to watch
So I quit. Too bad; it started out with such promise.

5. Yeah thats another one
I managed to watch all of season 2 and 3 and I even been following the new season. I find myself muttering "Thats so stupid" more often than "Whoa thats awesome" like I used to do in the first season.

16. Seriously! I really like the first season, it was like my favorite show--
then season two sucked horribly and now I have no idea what's going on. It was just too complicated, they went back and forth in time and down alternates and just....whoa. Not entertaining. Even though the cast is good and the characters really could interact in normal storylines in an enjoyable-to-watch way if the writers would so condescend.

9. BSG.
I loved loved loved the pilot and I really liked the first two seasons but after that it fell almost completly apart (and don't get me started on that horrible finale!) but I stuck with it through all the bs love triangles, court room drama etc..

Just watched The Plan last week and that did a decent job of making it look as though there was a deliberate point to the whole thing(even though there obviously wasn't)

12. No...
...I would always give a show several EPISODES, but if it hadn't resonated with me at that point, it was "Adios, muchacho..."

...on the other hand, I re-discovered series on DVD that I dismissed in their original broadcast run.

Patience is a funny thing. As Richard Hell & The Voidoids once sang, "it comes in spurts."

15. Yup, Star Trek Enterprise. Also, Eureka, and I thought Warehouse 13
sucked, even though I really wanted to like it. Really really wanted to like it.

And Eureka this past season was atrocious.

ST:Enterprise was another one I really wanted to like, but didn't much. My husband liked T'Pol, for two prominent obvious reasons, the only reasons I think the show actually stayed on as long as it did :D

I also have to confess to having watched way more Army Wives than anyone with an IQ over 100 and a job (at the time) should have.
