3. This Series continues to be defined by pitching
neither team has so much as gotten a runner on base so far today. :-)

7. One day closer to
NOVEMBER! How can they play baseball, in North America, in November?
Season should be cut back to 154 games and the playoffs should be best or 3, best of 5 and then the Series.............. (rant off :))

8. yes! starting GAME 3 on HALLOWEEN is insane!
Game 7 should be on Halloween, NOT game 3.

Baseball would be perfectly fine if the season was cut to 150 games, so teams finish with 85 wins, not 95. there are bigger tragedies, lol.

13. World Series went past November in 2001
and baseball survived. I don't understand why this is such a big deal.

15. There was a valid excuse, sports took a week off
It's the OCTOBER classic, no reason game 4 should be in november.

19. The excuses wasn't the issue
Baseball being played in the first week of November as opposed to last week of October is not that big of difference. It's no big deal.

11. Yes, great pitching on both sides - really tense games. I'm never very interested
in baseball unless the teams are well matched.
These teams are very well matched.

Little things may make all the difference-Phils have won 11 of the last 12 post season home games.
