The cities of Caprica are burning... "The Plan" DVD

After previewing the movie, I really cant decide if I'd recommend purchasing the DVD as opposed to waiting for it to air next year.

Seeing the attack on the colonies from the Cylon perspective was an exciting event. It was great to see Tiffany Lyndall-Knight return as the "hybrid". The music and special effects are fantastic.

But that is only the first 15 minutes...the rest left a lot to be desired. Their are no huge revelations as promised. It left me with as many questions as it answered. Tricia Helfer's new "Six" character was her worst acting since she played a corpse. The movie only spans the first two seasons of the BSG series. The ending feels very rushed and the story far from complete.

To sum up... As a BSGeek, I will eventually add it to my DVD collection, but I can't tell you to run out and get it. Rent or wait until it is aired in 2010.
