14. Was it the real equator? I saw on Samantha Brown's show a while back that they miscalculated
the equator's location years and years ago. They put up the tourist access spots and everything, and then realized they made a mistake, and discovered that the real equator was several hundred yards from the calculated position. Apparently, they never took down the misplaced tourist spots, and people still visit them, thinking they are at the actual equator. Were you at the right equator? B-)

16. Actually, that is the real equator.
There is a huge monument erected about 300 yards away that is what was thought was the equator for many years. As it turned out, the measurements of the Incans were spot on after all!
