Well, I ended up in the hospital...
Edited on Mon Oct-19-09 04:44 PM by WCGreen
103.50 fever, lots of coughing and lots of pain.

I hadn't been this sick in a long time. The night I wrote may last post about Joan Rivers I was up all night and still haven't been able to sleep for a stretch of house longer than .75...

But the good news,I don't have H1N1.

I have a very serious pneumonia and am so glad I have pretty good insurance as well as the fall back of Medicare.

I can't imagine what I would be doing if I didn't have Health Insurance.

I do know what I would have done is loaded up on Nyquil, Tylenol and cough syrup trying desperately to stay out of the emergency room so that I would be tainted with a pre-existing condition.

I will still be here for at least 3 more days. The best part is I was able to stay in contact while in th hospital.

4. Z Pac = Zithromax
It's a very effective antibiotic. Usually a 7-day course, IIRC, but it works great.

I'm just getting over what appears to be the H1N1 flu, as is my wife. I don't recommend this stuff one damn bit.

Hang in there.

It would really be hell if all I could do is real and watch TV..

I just have to put my 2 cents in or the debate just doesn't seem right to me...

12. Why do you have a fall back on Medicare?
Edited on Mon Oct-19-09 05:09 PM by Cleita
You can't have both unless you do Medicare and a supplement. If your regular insurance is one of the private insurer Medicare advantage programs, you have signed your rights away to Medicare. You should double check that.

I do hope you are doing better and getting well.

Some people were there for a couple of days. My sister had some penicillin and I just took that. My job didn't offer insurance.
