2. I don't think I am allowed to
because I consider myself to be agnostic, but I kind of do. I think anything is possible. Sometimes you can't explain things.

12. What does agnosticism have to do with ghosts?
Or not do? You've lost me there.

Why can't an agnostic believe in ghosts? We're talking ghosts, not angels, mind you.

5. To this day I swear to God I saw my departed grandmother check up on me while I was in bed
to make sure I was asleep, like she did whenever I stayed with her. Scared the living shit out of me, but after a few days I determined that whether it was real or I was hallucinating, there wasn't anything to really be afraid of.

7. It doesn't matter whether I believe in them, or not.
They will exixt, or not, regardless of whether I interpret the weirdness as ghost, or as momentary hallucination.

11. I wonder, but I've had several experiences one would call paranormal
The most common one was seeing a figure in the old mirror that was built in to the dining room of my house ( 100+ yrs)in Toluca Lake. The figure , seen by many over the years, moved across the mirror like a guest in the dining room, but no one was there.

The other in a different house in the Calabasas Hills, more pronounced, was a floaty glowing woman who was reaching towards my horse over the corral fence at night, from the house next door where the remains of a cabin from the 1700's were. A little research revealed that the wife of the cabin's owner was murdered by him in a jealous rage. Speaking to my neighbor later the next day, she sighed "Thank God! I thought I was the only one who saw her!" So, oooo-eeeee-ooooo scary music....

I've seen other stuff, but with Yaqui Indians on peyote, so that hardly counts here....

I have never had any experiences which I can comfortably state with any degree of certainty were paranormal, but I don't think that in and of itself proves anything. "I am open to the possibility of ghosts" would be a more accurate way to phrase my beliefs on the matter.

23. I was a ghost "agnostic" until I experienced something that I just can't explain
any other way. The few people I know who've seen what they are convinced were ghosts, were visibly upset when talking about it; not "regaling friends with ghost stories" etc. Mine was not upsetting, but I'd just as soon not have anything like it ever happen again.

You wake up at night, its all quiet, and you hear the creak of the house settling..
"Oh crap! What was that!" on go the lights.

Mad killers, flying scarecrows, flesh eating zombies I can deal with.
Ghosts freak me out!

Do I believe that the dead hang around to scare the shit out of the living? Not really.
