since the last time i posted this, national inclusion project had moved up to #1 :bounce: but now it's down to 2nd. :-( although 2nd place also gets money, 1st place gets the serious money ($10,000). to give you an idea, on of the NIPs initiatives is summer camps for kids with and without disabilities to participate together in the same activies. $10,000 is enough to fund one whole camp! the contest ends tomorrow, so the charities are all making their final push to the top. it's going to be close!
voting requires a smidgen bit of effort. you have to go here:
http://www.ilovechristiecookies.com/contest/form.aspand fill in a name (a fake one would be fine i'd think) and email (needs to be valid) and then type a code word. if you have multiple email adresses it's ok to vote one time for each one. if you have throw away addresses for spam they work great!
the charity is called NATIONAL INCLUSION PROJECT, Raleigh, NC.
http://www.inclusionproject.orgif you'd rather vote for a different charity, by all means, but i'd really appreciate the help for the NIP. it's a very worthwhile organization with an excellent service record:
